My friend Monica asked all of her friends to dress up as Disney characters for her daughter’s 1st birthday party. Little did she know how much I enjoy costumes! I think the big Minnie Mouse cartoon hands are HILARIOUS, so I finally found some at the costume store. I also bought really big eyelashes. The rest of the costume was from my closet, so I only spent about $10.
The ears were the fun part. I used a black headband as the base. Then I took a piece of black construction paper and cut out two ears. To make the ears stand up on the headband, I made them double sided and poked a hole through the headband.
And look. Hours of enjoyment.
Some of the kids loved my cartoon hands. Others tried to put them on. Others ran away screaming.
