About

I like to eat. I like to sleep. (Preferably in that order). If I’m disturbed during either, I tend to growl. Hence, I am know as Bear. My brother started calling me that a few years ago and it caught on pretty quickly. When I went to Spain, my friend said “You are like….Oso…you eat, and you sleep!” So I’m internationally recognized. HAYO

The Bear is trying to learn how to cook and craft, one paw at a time. I plan to blog about things that I make with my bear hands, which means that I will (try) to make most things from scratch. Crafting is a great stress reliever and creative outlet for me, and I enjoy making personalized gifts for my family and friends.

I want to be a great cook like my grandmother, who was well known for her sweet tea, pound cake and everything southern. I also really want to contribute to my family’s annual Thanksgiving dinner, which is my favorite holiday (duh). For 30 years, my family from all over the country has gathered for Thanksgiving, and each person has a well-known dish that they cook…it’s my turn! Stay tuned to see my progress!

In the meantime…eat, drink, and be bearily.
